Changing Paths works with the utmost integrity and respects and maintains the privacy of all of its clients. Personal details will never be given to a third party or used for advertising purposes without consent.


1. Changing Paths (PERFECTION Outdoor Solutions Pty Ltd trading as Changing Paths) operates under Building Licence No. BLD 248248 in relation to all building and construction work. Paul Kernaghan personal builders Licence No. BDL234106.

2. The client shall provide water and electricity at no charge to Changing Paths

3. The client shall provide access to site during Changing Paths normal working hours and storage space for materials during the contract progress.

4. Any addition and/or alterations to the schedule shall be properly treated as variations and subject to written instructions.

5. Changing Paths will provide a fixed price quotation. Any additional work required or requested after this quotation has been supplied will require a new and separate quotation for the additional work. All, or any special conditions must be declared and will be noted in the quotation. It is important and the responsibility of the Client to ensure we are made aware of any special/statutory Bylaws/Conditions/Permissions that may be involved. Upon accepting the quotation it is assumed you also abide by these terms and conditions.

6. Changing Paths is not able to accept responsibility for any damage to (or cost involved with) any underground hazards, obstructions or services not made known to us in writing or apparent on visual inspection. In the event where additional unforeseeable work is required, the client must take responsibility for the associated costs.

7. The client will be responsible for all payments to Changing Paths unless otherwise notified in writing prior to commencement.

 8. Changing Paths requires part payment up front, progress payment through out the landscape construction and final payment upon completion. These are payable immediately upon receipt of the invoice. Changing Paths has the right to cease, delay and/or reschedule any garden construction if these progress payments are not met.

 9. Changing Paths can not take responsibility for dead or dying plants or turf, or weeds growing in your garden or turf post garden construction. Changing Paths is responsible for the building and construction of your garden, however, you are responsible for the maintenance of it. Changing Paths recommends that you have a gardener tend to your garden on a fortnightly or monthly basis, as well as regular weeding and watering to ensure it is maintained to the highest standard and establishes well.

10. Changing Paths will take responsibility and fix any faults due to workmanship, in accordance with Building Act 1993, though will not take responsibility for any damage through the elements, including drought, winds, rain and frost, ground movement, root damage, wear and tear, breakages or lack of maintenance.

11. If necessary we reserve the right to substitute any plant with another of equal value and growth/habitat/colour.

12. Severe weather conditions, including drought, may cause the delay of the start date of the contract.

13. Delays caused by other companies on site may cause work to be rescheduled.

14. All materials on site remain the property of Changing Paths until payment is received in full.

15. Maintenance is not included in the contract.

16. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
